Fraternal Love

«For I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me» (Matthew 25:35-36).

"Missionary Contact"

There are no words to explain the feeling that resides in our hearts, the moment we have a "missionary contact", if we can call it that. It is at the same moment that you come into contact with people in need, not only those who lack the material, but also those who, with notes from that violin and guitar, are moved by the sensitive fibers of their hearts. Those people urged by human contact, which calms all ailments, problems or tribulations. This is part of what is lived in the rooms of a hospital, where every month, groups of young volunteers come, to bring words of life and hope to others.

"God is in control"

Listen to the testimonies of the patients, and feel that a song instrumented by our violinist, combines with that circumstance for which that person has lived. There is definitely no coincidence, God places even the smallest detail on our path as a missionary. A song, a biblical passage, a hug, a greeting; there is nothing where our God is not in control.

"Be reciprocal"

Our work on the mission field not only serves as a balm that comforts the hearts of those in need, it also softens every fabric of ours. By sharing with others, it is in this way that we learn to appreciate what God gives us. In this way we practice altruism and empathy, and we are reciprocal with what we receive from our Lord Jesus, and at the same time, a witness for those who have not yet decided to enter the mission field.

"Here I am, send me"

Reviewing the biblical passages found in Matthew 25: 35-36, at all times in our lives, is the best way to return a part of what God gives us. When we receive a smile from those for whom God has sent us, it is the greatest reward. These details are what fill us with joy and strength to continue in this work, a work that «Every being who believes the truth must take his place saying:" Here I am, send me"» [Isaiah 6:8] (Testimonies, t. 6, p. 49).

With these words, here at "CMI & SALT" we call you, to be workers together with God. Christ commends all who have received the light, impart it to those who are still in darkness, to those who are sick, to the poor, and to the lost.
